About Our Mecum Auctions Partnership

How it Started

The partnership between Mecum Auctions and Curing Kids Cancer began with a single, one-of-a-kind motorcycle. Built on the Discovery Channel show Café Racer, the bike was donated to Curing Kids Cancer with one goal: make an impact.
It was sent to Mecum Kissimmee—and sold for $45,000 to fund cures. From that moment on, Mecum President Dana Mecum was sold.

A Sign of Hope

Each day at a Mecum auction, a neon Mecum SOLD sign is awarded to the individual who makes the largest donation to Curing Kids Cancer. Personally signed and dated by the Mecum family, each sign represents more than a winning bid—it represents hope.

For more information, contact the CKC team.

Everybody at Mecum is like a big family—from the setup crew to the auctioneers. They know what we’re doing, and they’re all 110% behind it. People who attend these auctions are truly making a difference. They’re incredibly generous. They’re my heroes.
