Have your car featured on a one-of-a-kind quilt by Patty Schroeder, to be SOLD at a Mecum Auction with proceeds to benefit Curing Kids Cancer! From family road trips and car club friendships to chance encounters that change our lives, automobiles often carry our most meaningful stories.
That belief is at the heart of Car Stories, a new quilt project by Patty Schroeder, a specialty infusion nurse from Missouri and longtime supporter of Curing Kids Cancer. The Car Stories quilt will feature cars on the front, each paired with your personal stories on the back, all contributed by donors who want to celebrate the memories made through the love of cars!
Patty Schroeder has donated her unique quilts to Curing Kids Cancer and has raised over $141,500.00 through their sale at Mecum Auctions! Inspired by her travels with Mecum Auctions, and the connections she’s made with families affected by childhood cancer, Patty is combining storytelling, art, and philanthropy into one unforgettable piece. This quilt will carry stories of connection, generosity, and hope — all in support of children fighting cancer.
