Meet Dr. Joyce Ohm, Chair of Cancer Genetics & Genomics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. 🎗️ With the support of a 2024 Curing Kids Cancer Research Grant, Dr. Ohm and her team are making incredible strides in developing targeted therapies for Ewing Sarcoma—a rare pediatric cancer that primarily affects the long bones in the body. Their innovative approach combines two novel inhibitors (DDK and WEE1 inhibitors) to shrink tumors more effectively, all while reducing the need for traditional chemotherapy. These groundbreaking results offer hope for safer, less toxic treatments that will change the future of pediatric cancer care. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of kids and their families.
