Why I Joined the CKC Team…
My youngest son, Isaiah, is a cancer survivor. I want to help other kids survive and I really love the CKC team. My background is in events and I’m excited to use my skills for such a great cause!
My favorite CKC Memory…
My favorite CKC memory was when I first heard there was 97% cure for leukemia in children through research CKC had funded, and that it was now working on adults. I always knew CKC was doing meaningful work, but this is when I realized the real impact CKC has on saving children’s lives and giving other parents more time with their children, just as I was given with my son who is a cancer survivor.
One thing I wish more people knew…
The federal government gives $5 billion plus each year to cancer research and childhood cancer research only gets 4% of that. We have to raise our own money.
These are a few of my favorite things…
I went to school for music and spent many years on the road as a singer/dancer, on cruise ships, tours, and in theme parks. I love cars and I worked in the auto show industry for many years. I love traveling — my events background has taken me all over the world.
