Why I Joined the CKC Team…
I joined Curing Kids Cancer after a 10-year career at a children’s hospital, where I saw firsthand the treatment side of pediatric cancer. Through my fundraising work, I’ve seen the power of support, and I want to help bridge those worlds to create better outcomes for kids.
My favorite CKC Memory…
My favorite memory with Curing Kids Cancer was the 2017 Golf Classic. We raised half a million dollars, and I was able to keep it under wraps and surprise the co-founders live during the dinner program. Seeing that moment of joy and impact was really special.
One thing I wish more people knew…
I wish more people knew that childhood cancer research is critically underfunded, and that most treatments for kids are adapted from adult therapies. We urgently need research designed specifically for children.
These are a few of my favorite things…
Watching my son play baseball, squeezing in a Pure Barre class, good music, strong coffee, crafting projects, and a deep love for all forms of potatoes.
