Why I Joined the CKC Team…

I’ve always had a passion for working in the nonprofit world and making a positive impact in the lives of others. When I first came across Curing Kids Cancer, something about the organization and its mission really stood out to me. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a team that is making such a meaningful difference for children and families. I’m so excited to be here and to contribute to a mission that means so much!

My favorite CKC Memory…

My favorite memory with CKC so far has been Pony Days! It was so special getting to watch the children and their families enjoy a fun-filled day with the horses, making memories and simply spending time together. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces and the joy that the day brought to these families was such a heartwarming experience. It was a great reminder of why I love being part of CKC and the impact we can make beyond fundraising and research!

One thing I wish more people knew…

I wish more people knew just how underfunded childhood cancer research is and how important it is to continue investing in better treatments. Children deserve treatments designed specifically for them that are not only effective but also less toxic to their growing bodies.

These are a few of my favorite things…

I love reading, spending time with my friends and family, and especially hanging out with my one-year-old nephew! Being an aunt is one of my favorite things, and I love getting to watch him grow and experience new things. I’m originally from Louisville, Kentucky, so I also love watching horse racing whenever I get the chance!
