Why I Joined the CKC Team…
My nana passed away from cancer, and I witnessed firsthand how difficult the treatments were for her and how deeply her loss affected my family. I can’t imagine a child having to go through that same kind of pain, which is what drew me to this work and the mission to help create change.
My favorite CKC Memory…
My favorite memory with CKC is attending my first South Carolina Fire Truck Pull. It was incredible to experience such a unique event and to see the community come together in such a powerful way to support an important cause.
One thing I wish more people knew…
I wish more people understood how underfunded pediatric cancer research is, despite how many families it impacts. It’s easy to think it won’t affect you, but the reality is that it can touch anyone, at any time. Greater awareness and support can make a real difference in changing that.
