GA Fire Truck Pull

Get ready to tug! Curing Kids Cancer is bringing its signature event, the Fire Truck Pull, to Canton, GA, on Saturday, May 15, 2027 at The Mill on Etowah. Funds raised at the Fire Truck Pull will support vital pediatric cancer research at Emory University, which is at the forefront of innovative treatments for childhood cancers.

Imagine this: Teams of twelve competing to pull a 30,000-lb fire truck 50 feet in the fastest time. It’s the ultimate tug of war! Each team pulls in honor of a child affected by childhood cancer. You can choose to pull for someone you know or let us match you with a brave child to support.

Let’s get creative! Dress up in tutus, camouflage, sports gear, cat ears—anything that represents your cancer warrior’s favorite things. We love seeing your imaginative outfits!

Team up for triumph! Whether your team is made of friends, colleagues, or family, your efforts will bring hope to children fighting cancer. Don’t miss out—team registration closes on Friday, May 7, 2027.

How Do I Win a Fire Truck Pull?

There are different ways to win! For each category, the winning teams will receive a prize and recognition for their sweet victory.

1. Overall Top Fundraising Team: Show us the money! This team has fundraised the most money through the end of the competition.

2. Best Dressed Team: Superheroes and unicorns, assemble! This team wins the in-person vote for best costumes. This competition will take place in person at the event BEFORE the pull, so make sure you are on time!!

3. Fastest teams: The two fastest teams to pull the fire truck to the finish line win a prize!

GA Fire Truck Pull Team Registration

Teams of twelve will race to pull a 30,000 lb. fire truck 50 feet (using a giant rope!) in the fastest time.
Each team member will receive a T-shirt.
If you need a child to pull for, please email Chelsea Herre at Chelsea@curingkidscancer.org for help.
Your team must check in at Registration starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2027. All team members must be present for the 10:30 AM start.
