Diagnosed at just 15 months old with stage 4, metastatic Neuroblastoma. Owen underwent 18 months of high risk, multi modality treatment which included: 5 rounds of High dose chemotherapy, 5 rounds of immunotherapy, 12 sessions of radiation, an 8 hour tumor resection surgery, 8 rounds of low dose chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy and many bumps along the way. Today, by the grace of God, he is almost 5 years old and thriving! Owen remains on a maintenance medication which he will complete in its entirety in August of this year. This maintenance medication is used in the first 2 years after treatment to help prevent relapse because relapse rate can be high with high risk Neuroblastoma. He has been cancer free for 3 years and off treatment for 2 years. We pray for many, many more healthy years ahead of us with our joyous boy. His favorite things are anything Super Mario, he is 100% obsessed!
