Born and raised in eastern Pa in the farming and coal mining region. I have lived here my entire life with the exception of three years in the Army where I worked as a technician on fuel and electrical systems. In 1980 I started my life into recovery from drugs and alcohol and have been very active in this area and continue to this day. I met and married my wife Debbie in 1981 and we have worked together to raise four children and 10 grandchildren. We also started our business career in the early 80’s with a repair center that failed and then moved on to the used auto business first as a used car lot and then started a service contract company. We were blessed to have grown Preferred Warranties Inc. until 2013 when it was sold to a public company. My retirement then went on to again opening a used car lot again with a subprime finance company and in 2022 sold it to two of my managers. I am now excited to be in the Classic Car business and have met amazing people.
I started being involved on non profits with Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness as a Board Member in the early 90’s. Then in 2012 we had a friend that had a calling to help the homeless in our area so formed Servants To All in Schuylkill County and I am presently Vice Chair of the Board. I also have a granddaughter born in 2009 with physical brain damage and severe CP which led to me being involved in St Joseph Center for Special Learning starting as a Board member in 2014 and presently serve as Chairman. During the last five years I have survived a 21 foot fall and also have survived Cancer during the pandemic these events have helped increase my desire to keep working to make difference in the lives of others. Curing Kids Cancer is a perfect venue for me to continue growing in this area.
